AP is a new dynamic website which enables an area to publish and promote its entire curriculum offer to its learners aged 14 to 19.

Area-prospectus not only contains details of all formal and informal courses, activities and wider experiences that are available to learners aged 14-19 across an area, but also includes a number of advanced features that combine to create a fully inclusive, personalised experience.

ACCESS anywhere, anytime: Area Prospectus is available 24/7/365 by visiting www.area-prospectus.com. Learners can access the website and browse the courses, activities and experiences on offer in a particular area.
SAVE favourite courses: Every learner who registers on the Site is given a unique username and password. Once logged in, they can save their favourite courses to their personal ‘My Courses & Messages’ area.
ENQUIRE with providers: Registered learners can ‘message’ a provider to enquire about a course they have found on the website. All messages and replies are saved in the learner's personal ‘My Courses & Messages’ area.
PUSH learning opportunities: AP contains a number of innovative features that enable an area to profile its learners and push learning opportunities to them, including:

SOPHISTICATED search tool: Use the basic search facility to search on a keyword or the advanced search function to search by a particular type of course, provider, qualification or provider.
POWERFUL reporting functions: Every approved provider is given their own administration area where they can edit their contact details, existing courses and upload new opportunities.

ASSURED quality control: All courses uploaded by providers are viewed and approved by administrators before they are published on the website.
